We are thedunce.fun. It all began when the founder of thedunce.fun, Rick Idaho, realized how hard it was to get a start in comedy. All of his favorite comedy institutions, from SNL to The Onion to The Second City, were all started by young people taking risks, but in this day and age they don't take risks and they sure as shit don't hire young people. They've all lost their ways and been bought off by corporations, their comedic voices sanitized, and their exclusive social clubs gate kept. thedunce.fun aims to fight against this and be the future of comedy, unshackled by corporate interests and a place for young artists to take risks and make a name for themselves. We are simply comedy for comedy's sake, and we hope you enjoy!

FAQ

1. Are you using A.I. art?

Yes indeed, we do use AI art for certain pieces, especially satire news. I did not arrive at this decision lightly. I can't afford a graphic's artist and honestly it would be a waste of their talents. I find that the AI art helps enhance the jokes and is quick and cheap. I would rather have artists work on their own work as well. If you feel strongly against AI art, feel free to put your money where your mouth is and go tip the artists in our art section located here.

2. I disagree and/or was offended by something you said.

In that case we invoke the right of Jester's Privilege: the ability and right of a jester to talk and mock freely without being punished; for nothing they say seems to matter.
